Since Iranian Banks have no direct links with any American Bank or American Credit Agency, The Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran has instructed all Iranian Banks not to accept travelers cheques issued by such banks or agencies.
Therefore, in order to avoid disappointment when cashing your cheques in Iran, we would suggest that you obtain your travelers cheques through an alternative source before travelling to Iran.
