Shiraz, Fars prov, Oct 28, IRNA -- All Jewish Iranians convicted of spying for the Zionist regime have been granted home leaves over the past three weeks.
Head of Fars Justice Department Hossein-Ali Amiri said on Monday that under the regulations of Iran's prisons, the inmates can enjoy home leave if the punishment appears to have had positive effects on them.
Amiri said the Jews, as Iranian citizens, were entitled to the same privilege, and were granted the leaves.
He further confirmed that the Jews could be released on parole, stressing that all inmates in the Islamic Republic benefit from that right regardless of their faith or ethnicity.
