Tehran - Aug 18 -The Head of Expediency Council Ayatollah Rafsanjani pointing to the power of Iran in the region and the sensetive geographical position of Islamic Republic of Iran stipulated that world has to consider the role of Islamic Republic of Iran and cannot ignore it.
Meeting the representative of Islamic Republic of Iran in foreign countries,Ayatollah Rafsanjani said that with the end of rivalry of the U.S.A and U.S.S.R and the increasing wave of globalization ,there is a new page in history.
He continued that U.S is trying to make a monopole system in the world ;therefore,the interets of powers come into blows.
He also lambasted the U.S. policies after September 11 and underlined the fact that the identity of these U.S. events are not clear yet but U.S. is going surfing on the wave of terror campaign after its interests have been threatened.
He reitrated that terrorism is no good for any country and the events in the U.S. could happen in any country.
He added that if the U.S.A was well-intentioned ,it would attract global support but it did not. So a heck of a lot of difficulties have been left on its hands.
He also pointed to the role of Zionist lobbies in U.S decision making body and underlined that the U.S government even prefers Zionist interests to its own. H.R.K.
