Tehran, Dec 15, Itar-Tass/ACSNA/IRNA -- Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi on Saturday invited IAEA inspectors to visit two centres in Arak and Natanz in the central provinces of Markazi and Isfahan respectively.
Kharrazi said Iran has no plans of producing nuclear weapons, adding that Tehran concentrates all its efforts on peaceful uses of atomic energy.
"This sphere is absolutely transparent and has a peaceful nature. We have no secrets in this field," the Iranian minister said.
"These centres are doing their best to produce necessary fuel for nuclear power plants that will meet the country's electric needs," Kharrazi added.
Earlier in the day, a spokesman for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed that Secretary-General Muhammed El Baradei would visit Iran next February. He said that the IAEA secretary-general would lead a group of international experts.
