       Tehran, April 11 - German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer called his Iranian counterpart Kamal Kharrazi on the phone Wednesday night and exchanged views with him on latest Mideast developments.
     The two foreign ministers expressed deep concern over the unprecedented escalation of tension in Palestine, emphasizing that intensive care should be taken on the part of the global community to control the dimensions of aggression there and to avoid f urther expansion of the crisis to other regional countries.
     Referring to the diversity and depth of crimes committed by the racist-Zionist regime during its recent military incursions in the occupied West Bank of the Jordanian river, Kharrazi stressed that the different countries should employ all their means adding to the international pressu re against the war criminal Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to yield to the global will and withdraw his usurper forces from Palestinian towns, villages and refugee camps.
     He further emphasized: "So long as serious and effective measures are not adopted against the racist-Zionist regime, the Jewish state will keep on committing crimes and violating international norms.
