Tehran, Jan 1, IRNA -- Government spokesman Abdullah Ramezanzadeh said here Wednesday that despite certain gray points, talks between Iran and European Union have in general been 'positive'.
"What is of importance is the direction of the talks, which has met both sides' satisfaction and they include a number of issues, including human rights, and their stances on international developments and other subjects," said Ramezanzadeh in his weekly press briefing.
Ramezanzadeh said that he was unaware of any precondition set by the EU for Iran to release 30 prisoners.
He said Iran and the EU continue with their talks on domestic issues, Iran's attitude towards different groups in Iran and Europe and the way Europeans dealt with various groups, as well as both sides' policies on the region, the Middle East and human rights.
He added that Iran and the EU had formed working groups for the purpose.
