| Tehran, July 31, IRNA -- Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid-Reza Asefi said here on Wednesday that Iran has persistently called on the Swiss government to provide the world with all documents and evidence relating to the explosion in Argentina so as to make the behind-the-scene events clear. The Swiss government had recently asked Argentina to provide more information so that it could complete its investigation on whether Iran had deposited funds in the Swiss banking accounts for former Argentine president Carlos Menem. Asefi said Tehran is determined to receive information. The Islamic Republic of Iran is confident that the plot for explosion in the Jewish centers in Argentine had been designed by the Zionist regime, said Asefi. He added that in continuation of the dirty game, Israel is trying to deviate world public opinion, including the survivors of the crime, and prevent legal and judicial investigation of the events. A Jewish building in Buenos Aires, Argentine capital, collapsed as a result of explosion in 1994. |
