Entry Visas

Entry visa(single, double or multiple) are treated for foreigner experts and business men who wish to travel to Iran for a limited period of time for economic, commercial cultural and industrial purposes..
Authorised duration of stay is usually up to 30 days.
Commercial visitors to Iran must obtain the invitation letter number 2 from the sponsoring company in Iran.
The sponsoring company must send the invitation letter number 1 to the embassy at the same time.
Then applicants must fill in two application forms in black ink and bring their passports with two photos (for women with scarf), a letter from their company about purpose of their visit and the approval date of journey, an the fee of the visa to the consulate.
The process starts when the complete documents are received, and it takes ten working days.

Work permit visa

This visas will issue for foreign nationals who intend to work in iran. Iranian employers must obtain work permits in advanced from the relevant authorities.

A pilgrimage visa is issued for foreign Muslims pilgrims to visit sacred sides and shrines in Iran

Tourist visa

A tourist visa is issued for foreign nationals who are interested in travelling to Iran individually are collectively to visit Iran or their relatives.
The applicants must fill in one application form in black ink and bring their passport with one photo (for women with scarf) to the consulate, the fee has been paid.
The process starts when the complete documents are submitted and it takes about three weeks.

Transit Visa

A transit visa is issued for a limited period of time for foreigners who intend to pass through Iran to a third country.

Student visa

A student visa is treated for foreign nationals who intend to study in the Islamic republic or Iran.

For intending this kind of visa, the applicants must take the authorisation number from ministry of foreign affairs of Iran.

Press Visa
 
A press visa is treated for journalists and representative of foreign media and the press who intend to travel to Iran for purposes relating to their professions for a specific period.
For intending this kind of visa the applicants should apply through the press section at the Iranian embassy.

Diplomatic and service visa
This visa is treated for the holders of diplomatic and service passports who intend to travel to Iran.
