Iran-UNIDO-FM
New representative of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) to Iran Weixi Gong presented his credentials to Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki.
According to the United Nations Information Center (UNIC), Mottaki and Gong during discussed issues related to the establishment of a South-South Center.
They also conferred on the establishment of a Nano-Technology Center, development of various industrial sectors of Iran using UNIDO’s approach, UNIDO’s involvement in environmental issues, energy and cleaner production.
Mottaki and Gong surveyed development of national human resource in various sectors and conducting UNIDO awareness workshops in Iran as well.
