Iran regards Venezuelan development as its own

Iran-Venezuela-Cooperation
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Monday that Iran regards Venezuelan development and progress as its own.

Ahmadinejad made the remarks in a joint press conference with the visiting Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez in Assalouyeh, Khuzestan province.

He said that the two nations are now moving forward to progress shoulder to shoulder.

Iran and Venezuela enjoy profound, brotherly, extensive and dynamic relations, said the Iranian president.

He said there is no limit for expansion of mutual ties between the two countries.

Describing the Venezuelan people as revolutionary and determined, he said Iran is a second home for Venezuelan president and his entourage.

The Iranian and Venezuelan presidents have come the southern port city of Assalouyeh to attend the ground breaking ceremony of Iran-Venezuela joint petrochemical project.

The Iran-Venezuela petrochemical project is the world largest petrochemical complex.
