10 October 2006 300 hopefuls sign up for Experts Assembly electionsIran-Elections-EA Interior Ministry announced on Monday that on the first day, 25 people registered, while the figure was 26 on the second day, 37 on the third day, 55 on the fourth day, and 60 on the fifth day. Substitute Friday prayers leader of Tehran Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati is said to be in the list. The deadline for the nomination, starting since October 5, will end on October 11.
