Iran capable of exporting Dlrs 10b worth of spare parts per annum

Iran-Export-Spare Part
Secretary of Part-Manufacturers Association here on Tuesday announced that given the government’s support for part-manufacturers, they will be able to export 10 billion dollars worth of spare parts per annum.

Mohammad-Reza Najafimanesh added that development of
the country’s industry especially part-manufacturing sector depends on interaction among industrialists, producers and the government.

Turning to internal and external problems facing the car and spare part manufacturing sector in Iran, he noted that banks do not care about part-manufacturing industry, and industry owners require free market to finance their industrial activities.

Najafimanesh stressed that globalization and establishment of a link to international network of part manufacturers are considered a breakthrough for Iranian part-manufacturers.

Pointing to the SAPCO Company’s development process based on international standards, the official noted that "we should improve our products to get a proper share of global markets." He noted that spare part producers and car manufacturers have reached an important agreement on the basis of which auto makers will pay to part manufacturers within 15 days of the delivery of their needed parts.
