Bulletin: Earthquake in Iran

      A powerful and devastating earthquake hit the city of Bam in the early hours of Friday 26 December 2003 in southeastern Iran in the Kerman province. Thousands of people are reported dead and injured. The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran is launching an appeal to the Iranian community in Britain and other benevolent people to help the victims of this tragic earthquake.
